During the Depression, Milton Hershey of Hershey Foods had a whole cloth quilt commissioned to his wife. This is the pattern that was made for her. We now call it “Hershey’s Reproduction” it had close to 1000 yards of hand quilting in it. All Whole Cloth Hershey Reproduction quilts are hand quilted by Amish and Mennonite in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
