Complex two-color quilt, this style would have been made popular in the late 1800’s. Rooted in the traditional Star pattern, this color combination and set creates an optical illusion. All Stars over the Sea quilts are hand quilted by Amish and Mennonite women in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
